A family in our ward has given birth to a baby girl with a severe heart defect. She has been in the hospital since she was born, with the exception of a few short days she was well enough to come home. She is now in the hospital, waiting for a donor heart to come availble, and then she will have a heart transplant. Although the family has insurance, it covers only a small part of the medical bills they will end up with. A blog has been set up to share their story, and to give those who want to help a means of contributing. Please check out their blog, and if you are able, help out this wonderful family.
